First, the resort. We did not use many of the amenities this time, but the resort was well taken care of and clean. The breakfast at the clubhouse was great and all the people we interacted with were very nice.
Second, the mansion we rented. Upon arrival the mansion was clean and spacious for the amount of people we had. The positives ended there. There are a lot of minor maintenance issues that take away from the experience. Things pulling away from walls, trim missing in the kitchen just to name a few. The arcade was only about 50 percent functional as some of the games didn't even turn on and the bowling game didn't have any bowling balls, bummer! The casino room, which the mansion is named after, even had multiple machines not even working. There is a speaker system in the house with zero instructions on how to use it or even where it is in the house to attempt to use it. There is a karaoke machine in the home theater that cannot be used unless you buy a subscription. Why even have it there at that point? Last, but not least, the air condition was abysmal. We left all the rooms at 72 degrees as instructed and only half of the rooms had AC. One night my particular room did not get below 81 degrees. Talk about uncomfortable. All in my group spent 10,000 dollars for three nights at this mansion and it felt like a 2,000 experience. We would stay at reunion again, but would never stay at this particular mansion again and would not recommend anyone else stay here unless the cost was significantly reduced.
