Q: Do your homes include maps?
A: Each home includes a copy of our Guest Services Directory or access to our online virtual concierge, which includes local directories and area maps of nearby stores, restaurants and attractions. Our guest services team is also available to help answer any questions about the area. Many homes include computers with high-speed and wi-fi Internet access, along with a virtual concierge, providing online resources to maps on the company’s website and other map sites, as well as other information.
Q: What about swimming, tennis and playgrounds?
A: Each single family home that ALL STAR manages features its own private pool. Additionally, each town home has its own screened-in, private courtyard with a splash pool. Pool and spa heat is included at no additional fee with any reservation. Guests staying in resort communities, including all condos and town homes, also have full access to a community pool and spa, tennis courts, and children’s playground.
Q: What if I have special dietary needs?
A: The amenity of having a fully equipped kitchen helps many guests in this regard, providing easy planning, preparation and monitoring of meals and ingredients. Guests can also utilize the services private chefs who can cater meals for the duration of their stay. This can be arranged through ALL STAR’s guest services team.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Although the ALL STAR teams are all pet lovers, pets cannot be allowed in any of the homes or condos.
Q: How many people are allowed to stay in each home, and do you offer group discounts?
A: By state law, occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children:
- 2 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 6 people
- 3 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 8 people
- 4 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 10 people
- 5 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 12 people
- 6 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 14 people
- 7 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 16 people
- 8 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 20 people
- 9 bedroom sleeps a maximum of 20 people
Yes, ALL STAR does offer group discounts. There are many rental communities with vacation homes side by side that can sleep up to 16 guests each, including Acadia Estates. This community was designed to accommodate large groups for family reunions, weddings or corporate retreats.
Q: What do I need to know about kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities?
A: Every home, town home and condo has a full kitchen including cooking and eating utensils, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher. Also included are multiple master bathrooms, allowing for private room access and access for other home guests. A washer and dryer are also included in every facility, equipped with laundry basket, iron, ironing board, and starter laundry detergent.
Q: What about Internet access, cable television, movie rentals and video games?
A: Each guest staying with ALL STAR Vacation Homes is provided free high-speed Internet access via the ALL STAR Connect Internet Café, located at ALL STAR’s Hospitality Center. Multiple computers are available, along with fax/photocopying services and complimentary Barnie’s coffee. Many individual properties also offer complimentary high-speed and wi-fi Internet access and in-home computers.
Cable television is included in each property and in each bedroom along with DVD players and a video game system. Rentals of DVDs, VHS and Video Games are also complimentary via the ALL STAR Hospitality Center.
Q: Do any of the homes have movie theatres, pool tables, and areas to skateboard and bicycle?
A: Many homes do include private cinema-style home theater rooms, as well as in-home arcade and billiard rooms. For guests staying in our condo and town home properties, access to a property clubhouse is complimentary, providing community game rooms, fitness centers and movie theaters.
For guest cyclists and skateboarders, each home community features sidewalks that wind around each neighborhood - perfect for leisurely recreation.
Q: Is a daily maid service available?
A: While the property is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure, you can request a mid-stay clean or daily service at an additional charge. A mid-stay clean includes: washing all sheets and towels, dishes, cleaning all bathrooms, kitchen area, vacuuming and dusting, sweeping and mopping, and refreshing starter paper products in the house.
Q: How are telephone calls priced while staying in the homes?
A: Local calls are free and long distance calls require a calling card or credit card number for usage. For the privacy of all guests, the telephone number and address to the property are not given until the morning of check-in.
Q: How old are the homes, and do they have air conditioning and heat?
A: Yes, all of our homes and condos have central air conditioning and heat.
