All Star Vacation Homes - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do your homes include maps?
A: Each home includes a copy of our Guest Services Directory or access to our online virtual concierge, which includes local directories and area maps of nearby stores, restaurants and attractions. Our Guest Services Team is also available to help answer any questions about the area. Many homes include computers with high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access, along with a virtual concierge, providing online resources to maps on the companyís website and other map sites, as well as other information.

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We do welcome pets in select homes in our San Diego location - please inquire with our Reservations Team about which homes are designated as pet-friendly. Although we at All Star are all pet lovers, we cannot allow pets in our vacation home properties in Orlando/Kissimmee, Captiva, Sanibel or Sun Valley.

Q: What about swimming, tennis and playgrounds?
A: All Star offers many single family homes, and even town homes, that feature their own private pools. Pool and spa heat is included at no additional fee with any applicable reservation. Guests staying in resort communities also have full access to amenities like community pools and spas, sports courts, game rooms and kids' playgrounds.

Q: What if I have special dietary needs?
A: The amenity of having a fully equipped kitchen helps many guests in this regard, providing easy planning, preparation and monitoring of meals and ingredients. Guests can also utilize the services of private chefs who can cater meals for the duration of their stay. This can be arranged through All Starís Guest Services Team.

Q: How many people are allowed to stay in each home, and do you offer group discounts?
A: By state laws in each location, occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children:

  • 2-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 6 people
  • 3-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 8 people
  • 4-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 10 people
  • 5-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 12 people
  • 6-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 14 people
  • 7-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 16 people
  • 8-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 20 people
  • 9-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 20 people
  • 10-bedroom sleeps a maximum of 24 people

Yes, All Star does offer group discounts. There are many rental communities with vacation homes side by side, including Acadia Estates and Formosa Gardens Estates in Orlando. In addition, ask about our Purpose Built vacation homes ideal for large families, groups and business retreats.

Q: What do I need to know about kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities?
A: Every home, town home and condo has a full kitchen including pots & pans, cooking and eating utensils, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher. Also many of our homes include multiple master suites with bathrooms, allowing for private room access and access for other home guests. In addition, most homes offer a washer and dryer equipped with a laundry basket, iron, ironing board and starter laundry detergent.

Q: What about Internet access, cable television, movie rentals and video games?
A: Most rental properties with All Star offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access and in-home computers.

Cable television is included in each property. Most properties feature DVD players in each bedroom and a video game system. Rentals of DVDs and video games are also complimentary.

Q: Do any of the homes have movie theaters, pool tables and areas to skateboard and bicycle?
A: Many homes do include private cinema-style home theater rooms, as well as in-home arcade and billiard rooms. For guests staying in our applicable condo and town home properties, access to a community clubhouse is complimentary, providing community game rooms, fitness centers and movie theaters.

For guest cyclists and skateboarders, our rental home communities feature sidewalks that wind around each neighborhood - perfect for leisurely recreation.

Q: Is a daily maid service available?
A: While the property is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure, you can request a mid-stay clean or daily service at an additional charge. A mid-stay clean includes: washing all sheets and towels, dishes, cleaning all bathrooms and kitchen area, vacuuming and dusting, sweeping and mopping and refreshing starter paper products in the house.

Q: How are telephone calls priced while staying in the homes?
A: Local calls are free and long distance calls require a calling card or credit card number for usage. For the privacy of all guests, the telephone number and address to the property are not given until the morning of check-in.

Q: How old are the homes, and do they have air conditioning and heat?
A: All of our homes and condos in Orlando have central air conditioning. All of our homes have heat. Check with our Reservations and Guest Services Teams to verify if the home you are considering has air conditioning. The earliest development of our managed communities began in 1998, with newly built properties continuing to open for guests on an ongoing basis.

Q: What is available through Guest Services?
A: Available services include:

  • Ticket upgrades, discounts or advance purchases for popular area attractions. In Orlando, tickets are available through our preferred ticket provider Kissimmee Guest Services, including:
